Milestones in 2018

  • Closing the Arrow acquisition. This was a strategic deal to grow geographically with some of the existing vendors and to bring in new vendors, particularly in the security area.
  • Delivered growth on both value and retail business through re-shaped operations.

Plans for FY2019-20

  • Rapid integration of Arrow, with minimum impact on existing operations, and delivery on the expected synergies. This will bring us new skills in sales and pre-sales, and reinforce our position as a value-added distributor.
  • Launch of Mindware’s cloud marketplace.

Verdict

Mindware has shown exceptional increase in sales revenue over its 2017 numbers, reaching US$690m in FY2018. The distributor achieved this in a tough market with clear objectives and expansion into retail with a focus on increasing market share of each of its key vendors.
