ChannelMEAwards 2019: Avaya takes the lead in best partner programme
Avaya Edge Partner Programme wins the Vendor Channel Programme of the Year award
The Best Vendor Channel Programme of the Year award was a hotly contested category this year, and Avaya emerged a clear winner for its Edge Partner Programme. With the channel community including IT traders, resellers, system builders, value-added resellers, solution providers, systems integrators and retailers voting for the winners in this category, it was guaranteed that the winning programme is the one that made an impact on the regional channel.
"Avaya Edge is the industry’s most inclusive channel program, and the only one that enables growth regardless of the size or unique partner business model. Proof of this is the fact that the number of our channel partners eligible for rebates increased by 281 percent between 2017 and 2018. Through 2019, our channel strategy will be driven by an intense focus on the cloud, and greater emphasis on solution and application selling. We are especially proud of this award as it was the channel community itself that picked Avaya. It is a reflection of the close relationship we have with our partners and the mutual support that we share," said Fadi Hani, vice president – META, Avaya.
The voting for the best vendor channel programme of the year was fiercely contested, but in the end, the winning programme is one that helps partners to differentiate themselves by leveraging a host of channel resources and tools that include training, certification, marketing resources and pre- and post-sales support services from the vendor.
Channel Middle East Awards 2019's winners were named at a gala ceremony on 23rd April, 2019, at Waldorf Astoria Palm Dubai.
