Kodak Alaris announced as gold sponsor for seventh annual Saudi smart government event
Information management specialist Kodak Alaris has announced that it will be a Gold Sponsor of the upcoming Kingdom Smart Government Meeting in Saudi Arabia.
The seventh annual Smart Government Meeting, which takes place in Riyadh from 9-10th May, will bring together 150 government IT decision makers to discuss the future of smart government in the Kingdom.
Kodak Alaris will engage in discussions with CIOs and IT managers of government agencies participating at the event and provide insights into how digitisation of information is the first step towards digital transformation and laying the foundation for smart government initiatives in the Kingdom.

Among the solutions which Kodak Alaris has on offer for the government sector is its Info Input Solution web-based document capture application that provides an efficient way to integrate capture into existing enterprise content management (ECM) and line of business applications. The company said that government agencies can use the solution to reduce costs and increase the efficiency of document capture for departments.
The company has also invested in dedicated service centres in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khamis Mushait, to provide fast local support for customers using both Kodak Alaris and third party scanners. Kodak Alaris has also invested in Arabic language capabilities for solutions, including Arabic Interface and Arabic TWAIN drivers for its scanners capable of displaying Arabic text in its LCD Panels.
